Illinois Student LOCKED In Classroom Because He Wasn’t Wearing A Mask! [WATCH]

One video from a middle school student in Elgin, Illinois, shows he was isolated in a classroom because he wasn’t wearing a mask.

“It is the law by Governor Pritzker to let me out of this room,” the child stated. “You can’t lock me in a room. You can’t lock me in here,” the student says.

Chalkbeat Chicago reported:

Gov. J.B. Pritzker doubled down on a school mask mandate on Wednesday, even as he announced plans to lift a statewide mask requirement.

Pritzker’s announcement came as Illinois districts scrambled to reassess COVID protocols after a court ruling last week temporarily suspended the state’s COVID mitigation requirements in public schools.

A judge in central Illinois granted a temporary restraining order last Friday to temporarily suspend the Illinois Department of Public Health and the state board of education’s requirements for masks, vaccines, and weekly coronavirus testing until a trial. In addition, the court ruled that school districts cannot refuse teachers and students admittance to school buildings if they are deemed close contacts to those who tested positive for COVID.

The ruling put the 170-plus school districts named in the case in a sudden spotlight, and some moved quickly over the weekend to either defend or suspend their mask rules. For the state’s 852 school districts, some school officials say it’s business as usual — but it’s not clear whether that will be the case.

Infowars added:

“Schools need a little more time for community infection rates to drop, for our youngest learners to become vaccine eligible and for more parents to get their kids vaccinated,” the governor said Wednesday.

The governor’s declaration, however, followed a ruling by a judge last Friday granting a temporary restraining order to block the state’s public health and education departments from imposing the mask and vaccine mandates.

On Thursday, school Superintendent Tony Sanders highlighted statements by him saying the district “is still requiring masks,” saying he had not been instructed by the state otherwise.

“There are no clear metrics from the state regarding when schools can reduce their mitigation strategies,” Sanders wrote.

On Twitter, the Libs of TikTok account shared another video from the same school of a different student being locked in a classroom reportedly also for a mask violation.

The U-46 school district locked the children in the classroom because they weren’t wearing masks and other students ditched their abusers.

A viral video of high schoolers walking out after being told to mask up or leave has caused a firestorm.

These child abusers are desperate to keep the kids masked.
